Eastport 32 – What are you doing this weekend?

We are delighted to announce that the Elephant Boatyard has recently been selected to build the Eastport 32 motor yacht for the UK and European markets.

The Eastport 32 is a joint  US/British design based around the traditional Chesapeake workboat, and has been built to order in the US for the past ten years with phenomenal success.

Its Classic look sits on an ocean going running hull, built to impeccably high standards with modern composite engineering and driven by highly efficient twin Volvo diesel inboards providing a top speed of 33 knots.  The draught is only 22” (56cm) which allows you to explore the shallowest of rivers and harbours.  An outboard version will also be available.

This unique design offers an affordable on-water lifestyle, whether anchoring in a bay, spending a quiet weekend away or launching a kid’s sailing dinghy off the specially designed tailgate. The Eastport 32 will quickly become part of the family.

The forward cabin provides a twin berth for weekends away with a separate heads and shower room.  The spacious pilot house provides the perfect helm station with superb all round visibility, a dining table with ample seating and a wet bar/galley.  The pilot house can be closed off from the elements if required with the climate onboard  controlled with the integrated heating system.

The exquisite interior furnishings are made on a bespoke basis so can be personalised to individual taste.
