A unique opportunity awaits to own a bespoke Ed Burnett 35ft gaff cutter, with a custom made interior.
We have a hull that was built here at the Elephant but remains unfinished, offering an exciting project for someone ready to bring it to life. This hull is identical to Ivy Green, an Ed Burnett designed 35ft yacht constructed by the Elephant Boatyard in 2003 and shown in these photos:
With a long keel and excellent sea-keeping abilities, this Ed Burnett gaff cutter is a beautiful combination of classic yacht aesthetics and practical, seaworthy design, making it ideal for those who appreciate traditional sailing with modern sensibilities. Constructed with Douglas fir strip planking overlaid with 3mm Khaya mahogany, reinforced with laminated mahogany frames and epoxy sheathed, she is as robust and reliable as you’d expect from a boat constructed at the Elephant Boatyard.
It’s a rare opportunity to acquire a remarkable boat and commission a new bespoke / custom interior, crafted by our skilled shipwrights with meticulous attention to detail.
